New stars on the sales team

The commercial vehicle trade may still be ‘a man’s world’ but Enza continues to buck the trend by recruiting female sales specialists.

The latest to join the company team are Jo Heys and Louise Chadwick.

Jo spent the last 12 years with another Mercedes-Benz dealer. Having cut her teeth in after sales and contract hire, she has now taken up the role of van sales executive, based at Enza’s Trafford Park dealership.

“I’m really enjoying my new job, and the fact that I already know the product range so well is a real advantage,” she says.

Newly-wed Jo lives in Blackburn with her husband, who is a fleet manager for DaimlerChrysler UK.

Louise is sales support officer for Enza’s Van Centre, in Manchester, where she is now assisting front-line sales staff.

 Her daily routine involves keeping the stock list up to date, overseeing the valeting of the display models, and managing the fleet of demonstration vehicles.

Louise, who worked previously at a van hire firm, says: “Although I am from a commercial vehicle background, this is a different and more varied post than before. I enjoy the range of duties, from meeting the customers to generally supporting all the members of the sales team.”
